Is there an entrance test?
No. There is no entrance test and no interview, for the child or for the parents. Admissions are taken on a first come, first served basis. We don’t believe a three-year-old should be assessed for the privilege of starting school.
What is the admission process?
Come to the admission office and collect the Banbury Cross registration kit. Return the completed application form to the school office along with the cheque for the first term’s fees. Admission is confirmed once the first term fee is paid.
What documents do I need to bring?
A photocopy of your child’s birth certificate; Aadhaar card if applicable; photocopy of address proof and the parent’s PAN card, with originals carried for verification; and three passport-size photographs of the child. A school leaving certificate if your child is transferring, which can follow later if it isn’t available yet.
What is your policy on discipline?
We have a zero tolerance policy towards corporal punishment. Teachers are trained to get their point across to children without instilling fear. This is not negotiable and it is not conditional on the child’s behaviour.
How are the teachers trained?
Every teacher completes the full training programme before taking a class of their own, and teachers receive refresher training during their time here. Our staff hold post-graduate and B.Ed. qualifications.
Is transport available?
Yes, on the school’s own vehicles, at a nominal charge. Each vehicle carries a lady attendant alongside the conductor and a trained driver, and CCTV is installed. Routes vary by area — ask the office whether yours is covered.
What facilities does the campus have?
A 13,500 sq ft campus with smart classrooms, an in-school amphitheatre, an indoor soft-play room, an outdoor multi-play station and garden, full air-conditioning, CCTV throughout, generator backup and child-designed washrooms with separate toilets for girls and boys.
What ages do you take?
Playgroup from age two through to Kindergarten at six, plus half-day and full-day daycare. We deliberately do not run a high school — early years is the whole school here, not its smallest department.
Does my child have to settle in alone?
No. New children have a settling-in morning during their starting term, when you come in together and meet the teachers informally. Parents and extended family are invited on the first day itself.

Closures follow the festival calendar and are confirmed each term. Daycare arrangements over breaks are set separately — ask the office.
